Auto vs manual publishing

IndieGTM supports two publishing modes:

Auto

  • Used when a platform account is connected and eligible for publishing.
  • IndieGTM will attempt to publish for you.

Manual

  • Used when an account isn’t connected (or a platform requires manual steps).
  • The app will show a task checklist and provide the assets.

Practical expectation

  • Text/image posts on X/LinkedIn/Facebook are best candidates for auto mode (when connected).
  • Short video platforms are typically manual (posted from mobile).
